Terms of Service
Effective date: July 25, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of perdiemus.com, including its website, application programming interfaces, Model Context Protocol services, calculation tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Perdiemus.com (“Perdiemus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by an individual operator in Washington, D.C.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.
1. The Service
Perdiemus provides tools for calculating lodging, per diem, travel-reimbursement, and related rate schedules. The Service may use data published by government agencies, private organizations, and other sources.
You may access the Service through the website, an API, an MCP server, an artificial intelligence agent, or another supported interface.
Perdiemus is an independent service. It is not a government agency and is not endorsed, approved, or sponsored by the United States government.
2. Calculations and Verification
Service output is informational only. It does not determine whether anyone is entitled to reimbursement or payment, authorize an expense or claim, or provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, employment, or other professional advice.
Calculations may be incomplete, delayed, outdated, or incorrect because of source data, user input, software, geographic matching, rounding, policy changes, or other factors.
You are responsible for reviewing every material calculation against the controlling source, policy, contract, travel order, or other authoritative document before relying on it. You are also responsible for every decision or action taken from Service output.
3. Accounts, APIs, and Agents
Some features may require an account or credential. You must provide accurate account information, protect passwords, API keys, tokens, and other credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or credentials.
An automated system or agent using your account, credentials, environment, or instructions acts under your control. You are responsible for configuring it, reviewing its requests and responses, and requiring human approval before it takes consequential action.
You may not evade authentication, access controls, or usage limits. We may change interfaces or rate limits and may throttle or block traffic that threatens the Service’s security, availability, or operation.
4. Organization Data and Other Content
You retain any rights you have in rates, policies, files, instructions, or other information you submit to the Service (“User Content”).
You grant Perdiemus a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service or comply with law.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of User Content and for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Do not submit sensitive information that the Service does not need, including passwords, private cryptographic keys, complete payment-card numbers, government credentials, classified information, or medical records.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any law or another person’s rights.
- Gain unauthorized access to an account, system, network, or credential.
- Introduce malicious code or interfere with the Service.
- Evade rate limits or other technical restrictions.
- Falsify a reimbursement claim or misrepresent output as government approval.
- Use the Service or its output to deceive, defraud, or harm another person.
6. Intellectual Property and Source Data
The Service’s software, interface, design, branding, documentation, and original content are owned by or licensed to Perdiemus and are protected by applicable law.
These Terms give you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may use calculations and exported schedules for lawful business, travel, administrative, or personal purposes, but you may not copy, resell, or commercially reproduce the Service itself.
Government and other third-party source data remain subject to the issuing source’s rights, rules, corrections, interpretations, and updates.
7. Availability and Termination
We may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We do not guarantee continuous availability, backward compatibility, preservation of calculation history, or continued access to any data source, API, MCP tool, or other feature.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a security or operational risk, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, or prevent harm.
You are responsible for keeping copies of any Service output or information you need.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not control and are not responsible for government sources, data providers, artificial intelligence systems, or other third-party services.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PERDIEMUS AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, ITS OUTPUT, THESE TERMS, OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE.
If liability cannot lawfully be excluded, the total aggregate liability of Perdiemus and its operator will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Perdiemus for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Service are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent a dispute may be brought in court, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the local and federal courts located in the District of Columbia.
11. Changes and General Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. If a change materially affects existing users, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the policies they expressly reference constitute the entire agreement concerning the Service.
