Passwords are stored in hashed form rather than as readable text.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. We generally do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. The payment processor may collect and process payment information under its own privacy policy.

We may retain transaction records, including payment status, amount, date, billing contact information, and identifiers supplied by the payment processor.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the service, we may automatically collect:

4. Private Organization Rate Data

Private companies and other organizations may upload or configure proprietary per diem rates, reimbursement rules, or related information.

We use this information to provide services to the organization and its authorized users. We do not intentionally make private organization rate data publicly available unless the organization instructs us to do so or the information is otherwise designated as public.

An organization may control the accounts, rate information, and calculation records associated with its workspace. Users accessing Perdiemus through an organization should direct questions about the organization’s use of their information to that organization.

5. Government and Third-Party Rate Information

Perdiemus may use publicly available rate information from sources such as the United States General Services Administration, the United States Department of Defense, and other governmental or institutional sources.

Public rate information is not personal information merely because it is retrieved, stored, organized, or displayed by Perdiemus.

Perdiemus is an independent service and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the United States government unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:

Service Providers

We may provide information to companies that perform services on our behalf, including:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Database and data-storage providers.
• Payment processors.
• Email-delivery providers.
• Error monitoring, security, and analytics providers.

Your Organization

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.

Typical retention periods are:

• Account information: while the account remains active and for a perdiod to be determined after closure.
• Billing and transaction records: as required by tax and accounting laws.
• Application and security logs: generally 3 years.
• Per diem calculations: indefinitely. We record all calculations for analysis and understanding.
• Private organization rate data: while the organization maintains an account.
• Support communications: indefinitely.

Backup copies may remain for a limited additional period before being overwritten or deleted.

9. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

These safeguards may include encrypted network connections, access controls, password hashing, backups, monitoring, and restricted administrative access.

No Internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password, API keys, and account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information we maintain about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Request deletion of personal information.
• Request a portable copy of certain personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, our response may depend on the technologies used by the service.

Where required by law and technically supported, we recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Perdiemus is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
